I just received a Vivitar slide printer for Christmas and was
searching on the Internet for any ideas, advice, etc. I have been
more successful with emulsion transfer, but now that I have the
whole kit, I hope to master image transfer also.
I was a professional photographer for 12 years, and am now going

I think your work is wonderfull. The transfers are very nice,

I have printed some information on transfers to increase one's
chances of getting reliable results. If you'd like it, just Email
me. I'll Email it back. I'm interested in any such techniques you
use, too. I also use the projection method. It's just to o hard
to lug around the 4x5 camera... plus all the other benefits such
as spontanaety and more variety of focal length lenses. The
quality isn't quite as good, but easier to process at my leisure.
Question... do you have any concerns about longevity? Does
coating with a matte spray help? I've hd some staining occur some
time afterword... Since then I spray both sides.
Very much enjoy your work.

Nice mix of programing and "aura" at least what I've
seen so far.... interesting thought - how far back - deep -
darker does (could your) site go illuminated only with Erotic

I had written you last spring when I fast saw your work,
and am very delighted that you have expanded your site and
image offerings. Just lovely work, really quite extraordinary.
At the time I wrote you, I was wanting my students to
experiment a bit with the image transfer process, but we
worked primarily with old peel-apart film on over-the-counter
watercolor paper and had only limited success. For your
updated site, I learned you shoot primarily in 35mm and
transfer to Polaroid. Two short questions: 1) how do you
transfer from 35 mm? 2) which paper have you found
works best for image transfer? I realize you are more
than busy, but appreciate any brief tips you might offer us.

Peter: I found your site through the Mythago Gallery. Another

photographer searching for what you obviously have found. The
"ART OF
IT". Your transfers are wonderful. The feel, the experience,
the very
nature of the female form set my senses in motion. My work to
